Phoenix Family Law is not a firm of solicitors and is not regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority. We provide administrative support and McKenzie Friend assistance based on lived experience of the family courts. We do not give legal advice.
Every tier is a single, indicative fixed fee — no hourly clock, no meter running while you talk. The amount below is what we expect the tier to cost; the exact fixed fee for your engagement is confirmed in writing, in your engagement letter, before anything is payable. Our services page describes each tier in full.

The same boundaries apply to every tier: no legal advice, no hearing attendance, no contact with the court on your behalf — you review, approve, sign and file all documents yourself. The full list is on our services page.
We pause and suggest the next tier before any extra work is done. Nothing extra is ever charged without your written agreement first — there are no surprise charges, ever. You can also simply stop at your cap: the choice is yours.
For orientation only (indicative market figures): sector guides put typical solicitor fees for the same C100 work at roughly £250–£1,500 depending on complexity, and a solicitor can do things we cannot — give legal advice, represent you and deal with the court for you. Free help also exists, and for some situations it is the better route; our support services page lists the main free options. We would rather you choose the right kind of help than choose us by default.
Paid support isn't the only route, and it isn't always the right one. Before you spend anything, please check what's available free of charge:
Our own Family Court Guide and signposting pages are free and always will be.
